GRE Online
The Graduate Record Examination (GREĀ®) is the standardized examination that must be taken by college graduates to apply for advanced graduate programs. The GRE is administered in two different formats: the general GRE, which can be taken year round and the eight subject tests, which are administered three times a year. While subject tests are not required by all colleges, they are recommended. The general GRE is divided into three sections: verbal, quantitative and analytical. The verbal section tests reading comprehension. The quantitative section tests basic mathematical skills such as geometry, algebra and basic arithmetic. The analytical section tests the ability to write clearly and coherently. The subject tests include mathematics, computer science, biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, psychology and English literature.
