How do I create a new class or course?

Once you have registered as a "Teacher," follow the simple steps below:

1.  Log in with your username and password.
2.  Click on "My Account."
3.  Click on "My Classes."
4.  Click on the "As a Teacher" tab.
5.  Click on either "Schedule A Live Class" or "Schedule a Course."
6.  Enter information about the class (single session) or course (multiple sessions).
7.  Upon completion of the form, press "Save Changes."
8.  Your scheduled new class or course will be displayed in your "My Classes" page.

Please Note:  You will be able to start your class 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
 

 

 

How do I start a class or course?

1.  Log in with your username and password 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the class.
2.  Click on "My Account"
3.  Click on "My Classes."
4.  Click on the "As a Teacher" tab.
5.  Locate your scheduled class on the right hand column of the "My Classes" page.
6.  The button to start the class will be enabled 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
      (If the button is not enabled, wait for few minutes before it is enabled)
7.  Once you see the "Start Class" button, click on the start button*.
8.  You will be taken to your virtual classroom.
9.  Start teaching.

Please Note:  *By clicking the "Start Class" button you enable the students registered for the class to join the class. Students can only join scheduled classes once tutors click the "Start Class" button.
 

 

 

How do I end a class or course?

1.  Once your teaching is completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "End Class" link.
 

 

Requirement:

To teach online, you MUST have Internet connection, microphone, webcam, and mouse.  Graphic tablet preferred.
